Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Becomes Insurance Partner of Sudurpaschim Royals

Kathmandu – Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance has been announced as the official insurance partner of Sudurpaschim Royals, a cricket team preparing to compete in the Siddhartha Bank Nepal Premier League (NPL). The tournament is being organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).

The partnership was formalized during a program, where Prakash Khadka, CEO of Sudurpaschim Royals, and Chunky Chhetri, CEO of Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance, signed the memorandum of understanding (MOU). The insurance company highlighted its commitment to promoting cricket in Nepal and supporting players’ economic and professional growth.

Sudurpaschim Royals, coached by Jagat Tamata and captained by national player Dipendra Singh Airee, has built a formidable squad for the tournament. The team will feature international stars, including Scotland’s Brandon McMullen, New Zealand all-rounder Scott Kuggeleijn, England’s Saif Ali Zeb, and UAE’s Rohan Mustafa.

The domestic lineup boasts experienced players such as Arif Sheikh, Binod Bhandari, Abinash Bohora, and Ishan Pandey, along with emerging talents like Arjun Kumal, Khadak Bohora, Naresh Budhaair, Bhojraj Bhatt, Naren Saud, and Amit Shrestha.

The Siddhartha Bank Nepal Premier League is one of the most anticipated cricket tournaments in Nepal, bringing together top domestic and international players to compete on a grand stage.
