Siddhartha Premier Insurance Pays Rs 2.91 Billion in Claims in Current Fiscal Year

Kathmandu – Siddhartha Premier Insurance Limited has paid out a total of Rs 2.91 billion in insurance claims so far in the current fiscal year 2081/82, settling 11,382 claims across various categories.

According to the company, Rs 873.1 million of the total amount was paid specifically for claims related to damages caused by floods and landslides resulting from the incessant rainfall in the month of Ashwin 2081 (September 2024). The remaining Rs 1.21 billion covered claims from other regular insurance categories.

The insurer further reported that 12,388 claims have been registered during this fiscal year. Efforts are ongoing to process and settle the remaining claims promptly. However, the company noted that the settlement of certain cases has been delayed due to the non-submission of necessary documentation by policyholders.

Siddhartha Premier Insurance has urged its insured clients to visit the nearest branch, provincial office, or the head office and submit the required documents without delay to expedite the claim process.
